Yoga – Celebrating the Uniqueness That is You

tug-of-warNeutral Ground

Meeting your kids on neutral ground is so vital to their emotional growth. Parenting often feels like a tug of war between parental expectations and the child’s resentment in not being able to match them. It can feel like a battleground, opposed to a playground.

Imagine the true growth that can take place when both sides let go of the proverbial rope, cease trying to pull the other to their side and simply love and accept one another. Accepting one another’s uniqueness is freeing and opens the avenue for true enjoyment of one another.

Celebrate Uniqueness

Yoga is a practice that acknowledges everyone’s individuality; it is not the practice of conformity, but flexibility. It gives and takes according to your age, body type, physical condition, mental awareness, emotional state and concentration limits. It moves as you do.

At Pearls For Life; Family Yoga, we strive to offer opportunities for families to meet on this neutral ground, in a peaceful nurturing setting that adapts to one’s age and abilities. With a variety of classes offered for pregnancy, babies and toddlers (with story time), this is an excellent opportunity to relax and enjoy your kids.

Aside from family oriented classes, we also offer “gentle” or “chair” yoga for those recovering from physical injuries or live with physical limitations.

Enjoy the practice of yoga that bends and adjusts to the uniqueness that is you.
