Out With the Old

hippie yogaWhen people think of the word “yoga” all kinds of hippie, alternative-living pictures come to mind. Like many things that begin on the fringes of society and gradually go mainstream when the benefits are realized, yoga is of those hippie-turned-popular phenomenons.

Don’t Fear What is New

People are typically afraid of something new; instead of responding with open-minded curiosity, fear takes over and chokes out the fresh sprouts or potentiality.

At Pearls For Life; Family Yoga, we know that many people are not familiar with the practice of yoga and can be hesitant to take a look. Far from your misconceptions of the practice, lies a wonderful, nurturing, healthy and relaxing opportunity for you to connect with your kids. Gone are the days of yoga being a foreign religious practice; we take this gentle practice and use it to heal and strengthen the body, mind, spirit and relationships.

Beauty in Silence

There is little more beautiful than seeing a class full of rambunctious toddlers gather together and quiet down as they engage in movement with their parents or care givers; there is silence and sweetness. Bending and stretching as one. Listening and focusing together.

I love to see mothers and fathers engage with their children in ways that genuinely tighten their bonds. Family yoga provides the opportunity to tune out the stress of our daily schedules, leave the frustrations of the morning behind and relax both child and parent.

Convenient Location

Our classes are conveniently located in Encinitas and are easily accessible from North Country and San Diego towns. Plan a moms’ group fieldtrip, a family outing, a sports day event, or make Pearls For Life a weekly part of your schedule. Out with the old concepts of yoga and in with new family experiences.
